Lives and works in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, New Zealand.

Vivienne Worn’s practice sits somewhere between abstraction and a contemporarily digital version of the figure.  Small clippings from online reproductions of historical paintings act as beginnings for her own works.  In this way there's a close reading of the brushstrokes of others as she makes her own marks, a conversation of sorts, an opening of, or mingling with, past painterly moments from afar.

Also a member of the RM Gallery and Project Space collective 2018 - 2021.
